Elizabeth Ferrill

private preview 28.11.2009

In her most recent work Elizabeth Ferril approaches the most common, unnoticed and yet strangely familiar spaces of transit. Her imagery tries to capture the multifaceted and seemingly paradoxical atmosphere in airports, waiting rooms, bus-stations, subway-stations and other transit locations. These ambivalent “Non-Spaces” seem to appear dead, impersonal and clinical yet they are filled with personal histories and experiences.
